About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated CRM & Monetisation Manager to join a top German online games company, working primarily remotely with periodic visits to Hamburg every six weeks. This role focuses on advancing monetisation strategies for a leading Free-to-Play strategy game by implementing creative, data-driven player engagement tactics across various channels including in-game pop-ups, emails, and push notifications.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating monetisation initiatives such as targeted in-game offers. Your role also involves conducting A/B testing to assess performance, extracting actionable insights from data, and continuously refining approaches. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams—product managers, game designers, developers, and artists—to pioneer innovative CRM and monetisation strategies, including leveraging AI for campaign enhancement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in CRM, product management, or monetisation within the gaming sector.
- Previous experience working for a gaming-related company.
- Strong passion for online and mobile Free-to-Play strategy games with a thorough understanding of standard monetisation techniques.
- Analytical mindset with proficient Excel capabilities and solid understanding of key performance indicators.
- Creative aptitude for designing engaging player offers and communications.
- Degree in Economics, Business, Game Design, or related field complemented by strong statistical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently with a pragmatic, results-driven approach.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary in the range of €55,000 to €90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Flexible work hours based on trust, alongside options for active breaks such as table tennis, gym access, and rooftop terrace usage.
- Outstanding professional development and training programs.
- 28 days of paid vacation with the possibility of taking a sabbatical.
- Optional German language lessons provided.
- Frequent team-building events to foster collaboration.
