Role overview
We are hiring an interview-stage Courier for an on-site position in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The role focuses on timely and courteous pickup and delivery of parcels along an assigned route, while also supporting customer service and ensuring all shipments meet the service standards expected by Federal Express Canada.
What you will do
- Collect and deliver packages courteously and efficiently on the assigned route.
- Verify shipments to ensure they comply with Federal Express Canada service requirements.
- Provide customer-facing support and handle related service tasks.
- Carry out all other duties assigned to the position.
- Operate in a PC Windows environment as required.
- Complete mandatory testing and training, including recurring training and annual accreditations where applicable.
- Work varying shifts as needed to support business demands.
Skills and experience needed
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- A valid driver’s licence with a strong driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and use appropriate equipment to move packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
- At least 1 year of customer-focused business experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet the required threshold on pre-placement driver assessment training.
- Basic understanding of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Comfort working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and adapting quickly.
- Willingness to work different schedules and holidays according to business needs.
- If based in Quebec, bilingual ability in French and English is required.
- For driving-based roles, candidates must have a valid licence such as Class 5, G, or 1[AZ], along with no more than two driving violations and/or accidents in the 24 months before applying.
Schedule and other details
This is a PPT role with a Monday to Friday schedule starting at 6:30 am.
