Role Summary
The Urban Marketing Coordinator will support the Urban Marketing team by assisting with marketing activities related to music releases. Key duties involve budget oversight, invoice processing for marketing expenditures, and managing marketing information flow. The role encompasses additional administrative responsibilities such as travel arrangements, vendor contract coordination, calendar management, and expense tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist product managers in implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Initiate and track creative asset requests including invitations, posters, and video clips.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as one-sheets, timelines, and quote sheets.
- Organize and manage collections of artist assets including photos, logos, artwork, music, and bios.
- Coordinate shipping and distribution of marketing materials.
- Manage marketing tools and assets essential for campaign execution.
- Support meeting scheduling and agenda preparation.
- Engage actively in team meetings, discussions, and planning sessions.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years experience in an administrative role within an office environment; prior experience in music marketing preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, particularly in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively across various company roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical thinker with effective problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Skilled at handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Maintains strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
