Role Overview

The Cluster Administration and Finance Manager will lead, coordinate, and supervise Administration and Finance teams across multiple entities within the Zambia and DRC cluster. The role involves coaching Country Administration and Finance Managers, overseeing their development and monitoring performance. This position reports to the Head of Administration and Finance and collaborates closely with headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure legal compliance and adherence to Group policies by local Administration and Finance teams to effectively support business objectives.
  • Facilitate the implementation and standardization of financial processes across all local operational entities.
  • Work with the Shared Service Center to guarantee accounting and regulatory compliance in financial reporting.
  • Assist local Business Control functions to produce reliable financial reports that aid decision-making through thorough financial analysis and trend projections.
  • Perform regular financial reviews, including balance sheet assessments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles within the business.
  • Contribute financial insights to major business projects and offers, including ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Financing Department for local deployment of financing strategies.
  • Manage fiscal and legal matters locally with support from the Head of Legal when needed.
  • Oversee fiscal, financing, and financial procedures across all local entities.
  • Aid local teams in managing their non-HR insurance portfolios.
  • Build a robust network of support functions, internal administration, and partners.
  • Support IT and office management efforts in local entities, coordinating with Group support personnel.

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance & Accounting.
  • Fluency in both English and French languages.
  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling within international industrial firms, preferably in Africa.
  • 2 to 5 years in a Finance Manager capacity within Africa.
  • Familiarity with local environments and willingness to relocate if required.
  • Experience in African markets, ideally including equipment distribution, mining, or construction sectors.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience using SAP ERP is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication, analytical abilities, rigor, and organizational skills.
  • Prepared to undertake business travel approximately 30% of the time.
