About the Company and Opportunity
Step into a distinguished hospitality career with Fairmont Udaipur Palace as part of its exclusive pre-opening team. This role offers the chance to deliver luxury services in a historic and elegant environment where guest satisfaction is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and professional communication with guests from reservation through check-out.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering superior service at every phase of their stay.
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain villa cleanliness and functionality, especially prior to guest arrivals.
- Coordinate daily with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams regarding guest requirements and upcoming arrivals.
- Supervise villa maintenance and cleanliness to minimize guest disturbances.
- Promote in-house resort amenities to guests before suggesting outside options.
- Manage guest itineraries including flight confirmations, dinner bookings, and tour arrangements during their stay.
- Assist other departments in addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Work with Food & Beverage to provide consistent service and accommodate guest preferences during dining experiences.
- Stay informed about all resort activities across departments to maintain accurate guest information.
- Support cross-departmental training when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
General Duties
- Maintain consistently high guest satisfaction ratings.
- Develop and enforce SOPs and maintain standards aligning with Luxury Quality Assurance.
- Conduct routine inspections within areas of responsibility.
- Ensure Front Office equipment including buggies and vehicles are clean, operational, and well-maintained, liaising for repairs and replacements as needed.
- Partner with Purchasing to source quality items, exploring local substitutes for imported goods to optimize cost and quality.
- Manage costs by minimizing property damage risks and maintaining inventories of stationery and collateral.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant Front Office experience.
- Essential knowledge of Butler service.
- Understanding of local regulations governing hotel operations is mandatory.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficient with hotel property management systems and guest request monitoring platforms.
- Strong communication abilities, resilience under pressure and emergency situations, paired with effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
