Business Development Specialist - Engineering Services (Infrastructure)

Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth within engineering services focused on infrastructure projects. This role involves discovering new business prospects, establishing vital industry relationships, and enhancing market reach in the engineering and infrastructure domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Scout and actively pursue new business opportunities across the engineering and infrastructure sectors.
• Forge and sustain strong partnerships with government bodies, developers, consultants, and strategic allies.
• Craft and implement plans aimed at boosting company revenue and broadening its market influence.
• Carry out detailed market research and competitive analysis to spot potential avenues for growth.
• Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and operations teams to provide client-centered solutions.
• Lead negotiations on commercial terms and assist in finalizing contracts.
• Act as the company’s representative at client meetings, industry gatherings, and networking events.
• Keep an active sales pipeline and deliver regular reports on business development progress.
• Track upcoming tenders, framework contracts, and business opportunities within Abu Dhabi and the GCC region.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in business development within engineering consultancy or infrastructure services.
• Robust network and connections within the engineering and infrastructure market.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
