Our Corporate Finance division specializes in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising advisory services through KPMG Corporate Finance Inc., regulated by the Ontario Securities Commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of critical transaction documents, including pitch books, teasers, and confidential information memorandums.
  • Build integrated financial models that guide decision-making at key stages of transactions.
  • Help identify potential acquisition targets, buyers, and investors to facilitate deal-making.
  • Engage directly with clients, advisors, and other transaction parties to ensure smooth communication.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and initiate deal flow proactively.
  • Conduct market analysis and deliver research insights such as public company valuation multiples and industry trends.
  • Be adaptable to working extended hours occasionally to meet project demands while maintaining a flexible approach to work-life balance.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a CPA and/or CFA designation.
  • Possesses a post-secondary degree accompanied by at least three years of pertinent experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting.
  • Demonstrates proven success managing projects in fast-paced professional environments.
  • Exhibits strong technical expertise in finance, including understanding financial statements and foundational accounting principles.
  • Communicates effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary ranges from $69,000 to $107,500, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Salary offered will consider factors such as location, competencies, skills, and unique background. Additionally, KPMG provides a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package.
