About the Role
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Asset Management & Operations Director to contribute to an important transport program in Dublin, Ireland. This senior leadership position is tasked with shaping and executing a comprehensive asset management strategy that ensures the durability, resilience, and value of essential infrastructure over the long term.
Our Programmes & Advisory team specializes in strategic consulting throughout the entire asset lifecycle, enabling clients to realize value through innovation, informed decision-making, and practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic delivery of asset management services across all program, project, and lifecycle phases.
- Advocate and implement ISO 55000-compliant practices tailored to generate tangible benefits.
- Strengthen client asset management capabilities by enhancing governance structures, processes, systems, and data quality.
- Establish and maintain trusted advisory relationships with clients, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality outcomes.
- Promote innovation through digital technologies, data utilization, and emerging tools.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering skill development and succession planning.
Candidate Profile
- Substantial experience in asset management with a successful track record in complex environments.
- Professionally accredited or chartered qualifications (e.g., IAM, Engineering, or equivalent).
- Strong background in asset-intensive sectors, preferably with rail or light rail experience.
- Proven leadership in teams employing data-driven and digital strategies for informed decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with a comprehensive lifecycle perspective.
- Excellent communication skills and adept at managing senior-level stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to effectively navigate multifaceted stakeholder environments and resolve issues constructively.
- Well-established external professional network and experience contributing to business development and thought leadership.
