About Adara Communities

Adara Communities brings together four decades of industry know-how with a modern focus on technology, resident experience, and community living. The company’s results are powered by people: residents, investors, and team members working together with a shared commitment to success.

Role Overview

As the Apartment Leasing Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day leasing activity while also helping keep the community running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who can balance sales, resident service, administrative work, and team support.

Key Duties

  • Market and lease apartments to support occupancy targets and help drive revenue performance.
  • Handle rent collection, post rent payments, and prepare late notices when needed.
  • Receive move-out notices, service requests, and resident transfer requests.
  • Assist with managerial responsibilities and contribute to efficient daily operations.
  • Protect resident confidentiality and keep documentation secure and accurate.
  • Prepare reports, paperwork, and leasing records required for the property.
  • Help maintain an active social media presence to improve visibility and attract leads.
  • Guide, support, and develop the Leasing Agent to improve leasing results.
  • Deliver strong customer service to current residents and prospective renters.
  • Work closely with the Property Manager and onsite team to help the community succeed.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a polished, organized leasing professional with a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to close leases effectively. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a flexible schedule, including some weekends, and have a stable employment history.

Additional Requirements

  • At least 2 years of prior experience as an Assistant Manager in the apartment industry, with strong leasing exposure, is required.
  • Strong sales and leasing ability with a demonstrated record of closing prospects.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude, appearance, and work ethic.
  • Some weekend availability is required.
  • Experience creating social media or marketing content is highly preferred.
  • A stable work history is expected.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • Commission earning opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • Discounts on rental housing.
  • A supportive, people-first work culture.
  • Pay range of $21 to $24 per hour.
