About the Role
Axxeler is seeking a resourceful and imaginative Video Editor to contribute full time from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The selected person will be responsible for crafting captivating video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts, transforming raw clips into polished visuals that adhere to brand identity and captivate viewers.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit both long YouTube videos and brief social media clips including Reels and Shorts.
- Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and background music effectively.
- Perform color correction and video enhancements to improve quality.
- Create engaging thumbnails for videos (preferred).
- Optimize videos for performance across various social media channels.
- Adhere to deadlines while ensuring consistent video quality.
- Collaborate closely with content creators and marketing teams to develop creative concepts.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalents.
- Solid understanding of current trends on YouTube and Instagram content.
- Skills in pacing, storytelling, and composing visual narratives.
- Ability to independently handle multiple projects efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
- Must have an impressive portfolio showcasing YouTube videos and reels.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Proficiency in designing thumbnails using Photoshop or Canva.
- Experience using AI-based video editing tools.
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO and techniques for increasing audience engagement.
Compensation and Work Environment
- Monthly salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 depending on skills and experience.
