Role Overview
As a Video Editor at Lowe's, you will be responsible for producing top-tier video content within a production studio environment. This includes ingesting, editing, and outputting video materials while maintaining high creative standards. Your role involves managing post-production workflows, ensuring time-efficient processes, and handling all relevant equipment and software.
Key Duties
- Process and edit video footage to produce high-quality final videos.
- Maintain and uphold creative quality benchmarks for video deliverables.
- Organize, archive, and manage all raw and completed video files.
- Generate accurate closed-captioning files and upload final videos onto servers for distribution.
- Plan and execute video post-production activities that effectively highlight product features and advantages.
- Oversee all post-production hardware and software including editing systems, audio studios, and client viewing areas.
- Utilize available online tools and product literature to fully understand and script video content emphasizing product qualities.
- Manage workflows to ensure efficient use of time and resources during post-production.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in film, photography, advertising, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience substituting formal education.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in video editing or production.
