Job Summary

The Support Services Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions in kitchens, galleys, and related common areas. This role ensures that equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean, organized, and meet all hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service with careful attention to individual needs.
• Maintain impeccable sanitary standards complying with company, client, and government guidelines.
• Develop and follow cleaning schedules and work plans.
• Notify management regarding purchasing requirements to reduce waste and avoid shortages.
• Oversee upkeep and proper functioning of equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Handle linens by sorting, counting, folding, labeling, and making beds.
• Clean public and common areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
• Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Manage waste disposal by transporting trash to designated areas.
• Restock bathroom supplies regularly.
• Keep an inventory of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Sanitize galley and dining spaces thoroughly.
• Disassemble and clean steam tables.
• Wash cookware, dishes, and utensils.
• Refill condiments and other stock as necessary.
• Prepare food items when required.
• Make and refill beverages like coffee, juice, and tea.
• Contribute positively to team dynamics and maintain professionalism with customers and coworkers.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule and Location

Full-time work schedule from Monday through Friday with variable hours. Position is remote but associated with the Modesto, CA location.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a fixed hourly pay rate of $28.14.
