Role Summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar is hiring an In-Room Dining Assistant Server to support its luxury hospitality operations. The role focuses on timely guest service, food and beverage presentation, tray and table handling, and support across in-room dining and related food & beverage tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities

The assistant server supports in-room dining service from guest greeting to order delivery and table clearance, while maintaining the privacy, comfort, and satisfaction of hotel guests.

• Welcome guests by name, explain menu selections in an engaging way, and share details such as ingredients, origin, taste, and preparation style.
• Coordinate tray and dishware removal requests within the required service time.
• Set up, clean, and break down room service tables, condiment arrangements, flatware, dishware, and service stations.
• Observe guest needs, check satisfaction, make suitable suggestions, and respond quickly and appropriately to concerns or special requests.
• Accurately close checks, ensuring room number and signature are captured, and properly handle voided checks and complimentary meals.
• Take guest orders when an order taker is not available.
• Plate and prepare small food items as needed.
• Support food service and help with setup and cleaning of operational areas.
• Step in to assist other Food & Beverage areas during busy periods or staff shortages.
• Clean private bars, bar carts, and storage areas.
• Restock ice for guest rooms and help keep supplies replenished.
• Maintain strict respect for guest room privacy.
• Minimize breakage and handle items carefully.
• Report unusual incidents, people, or objects noticed on guest floors.
• Respond correctly in hotel emergency and safety situations.
• Transport food orders and amenities, including special requests, to guest rooms in a timely manner so food quality is preserved.

Experience and Skills

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar field.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Genuine enthusiasm for luxury hospitality and attention to detail.
