Senior Network Engineer (Core Routing and Wireless)

Overview

An established project based in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Network Engineer highly skilled in Enterprise Networking, Core Routing, and Wireless technologies to join their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining critical network infrastructures supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure enterprise local and wide area networks, including wireless LANs.
• Plan and manage network upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects.
• Deploy and administer Cisco hardware and software solutions, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and Cisco DNA Center.
• Troubleshoot and optimize routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and VLAN configurations.
• Monitor network performance to ensure it meets availability, reliability, and security standards.
• Conduct root cause analyses for any network-related incidents.
• Work closely with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to design resilient network solutions.
• Document technical configurations and maintain network records systematically.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and Cisco DNA Center.
• Possession of CCNP Enterprise certification is favored.
• CCIE certification is considered a considerable asset.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities paired with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
