Job description
Overview
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the China headquarters and international branches, overseeing comprehensive IT infrastructure management tailored for office and retail environments. Your mission includes standardizing and implementing global IT policies locally, managing system operations, and supervising IT asset lifecycle processes to align local technology frameworks with corporate directives.
Key Duties
- Enforce company-wide IT policies, standards, and security measures, ensuring local systems conform to global architectural frameworks, tracking initiatives, producing status reports, and guaranteeing closure of issues.
- Lead and execute IT infrastructure projects independently, from conducting site surveys and planning cabling to hardware setup and finalizing system deployment, particularly for offices and retail outlets.
- Create and uphold a standardized PC endpoint environment, managing mass deployment, continuous support, and troubleshooting of business applications.
- Maintain and support AV conferencing equipment, security access control systems, CCTV, IP telephony, and multifunction printers.
- Administer essential network services like DNS and DHCP, addressing various network incidents autonomously.
- Oversee the entire IT asset lifecycle including requirements analysis, procurement, inventory management, maintenance, audits, and decommissioning of assets.
- Manage core enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, PBX systems, email servers, Citrix virtualization, and Synology NAS technologies.
- Offer on-location technical assistance alongside headquarters' security and network teams; coordinate with local regulatory bodies, external auditors, and vendors, monitoring service delivery quality.
- Develop and refine technical documentation and operational procedures to enhance local IT operational consistency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to autonomously prioritize tasks, proactively identify IT risks, and deliver complete resolutions taking end-to-end ownership.
- Strong project management capabilities including task segmentation, progress monitoring, risk anticipation, regular status reporting to headquarters, and escalation of resource or technical issues for timely resolution.
- In-depth understanding of PC hardware, Windows and macOS operating systems, application deployment methods, and endpoint standardization experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS, with skill in independent resolution of network issues.
- Capability to formulate IT implementation plans with robust hands-on expertise in hardware installation and system rollouts adhering to corporate standards.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, email systems, PBX, virtualization platforms, and Network-Attached Storage (NAS); preferable certifications include MCSE, Microsoft 365, or Azure Administrator.
- Fluent business English proficiency for communication with stakeholders and producing technical documentation; able to effectively collaborate within multicultural and cross-time zone teams.
