Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor with a deep commitment to maintaining workplace health and safety standards. The role involves supporting on-site safety procedures, monitoring compliance, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Officer in ensuring adherence to health, safety, and welfare regulations.
- Observe workforce behaviour to foster a robust safety culture.
- Maintain accurate daily safety records and conduct inspections.
- Distribute safe work procedures and method statements to appropriate personnel.
- Manage the availability and replenishment of safety equipment.
- Support safety awareness campaigns, signage, competitions, and other initiatives.
- Help organize and deliver inductions, safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and task briefings.
- Monitor hazardous substances that are used, stored, or handled onsite.
- Carry out noise assessments and monitor site noise levels regularly.
- Enhance investigation processes and reporting related to accidents and incidents.
- Conduct frequent site inspections and report results to the Safety Officer or HSE Manager.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the safety domain.
- Mandatory possession of a NEBOSH Certificate.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and training capabilities.
Additional Information
This position is located in Al Ula, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and requires full-time onsite presence.
