About the Role
This 12-month fixed term position has been newly established to provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle. You will ensure the recruitment process is carried out efficiently and accurately, with a strong emphasis on enhancing candidate experience. Working closely with Talent Acquisition Business Partners and hiring managers, you will maintain smooth recruitment operations with high service levels and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment coordination and administration across various portfolios.
- Screen applications based on established criteria to aid in candidate shortlisting.
- Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules among candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
- Oversee pre-employment checks, including references, medical assessments, police vetting, and eligibility verification.
- Maintain updated and accurate recruitment and candidate records in Workday, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment stages to provide an excellent experience.
- Assist with generating reports, recruitment metrics, and conducting data analysis.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Provide administrative support for Watercare’s Early Careers initiatives, including graduate, intern, and student recruitment programs.

Key Qualifications and Experience
- Proven background in recruitment, HR administration, coordination, or similar support functions.

- Experience with HR or recruitment software; familiarity with Workday is beneficial.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with skills in building productive working relationships.
