Junior Product Designer

About the Role

We are a Series A/B-funded company specializing in AI procurement intelligence, developing the next wave of autonomous workflows for the industrial market. We seek a Junior Product Designer to contribute to inventing innovative user experiences around supervising AI agents, establishing trust between humans and AI systems, and evolving industrial workflows from traditional dashboards into agent-centric interfaces.

This role offers a unique chance to influence UX patterns that are pioneering in nature while working in a small, dynamic, cross-functional team that delivers rapid product releases for business customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive product flows, user interfaces, and prototypes delivered to customers in weeks rather than months.
• Establish how AI agents present tasks, how users validate these tasks, and how confidence is built between human and AI interactions.
• Rapidly prototype using Figma, code-based tools, and AI utilities for effective communication of concepts.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to reduce handoff challenges.
• Review pull requests and ensure interaction and visual details meet high-quality standards on release.
• Promote elevated visual and interaction design standards and contribute actively to the design system.
• Manage feature development from ideation through delivery, not just isolated screens.
• Incorporate user feedback and usage insights to iteratively improve features.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Between 0–2 years of experience in product design, including substantial internships, preferably with a portfolio demonstrating shipped B2B or complex, data-intensive applications.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver end-to-end features rapidly to paying customers.
• Keen design sensibility with consistency in visual and interaction elements, especially within design systems.
• A solid grasp of the end-to-end design-to-development workflow with emphasis on cross-team collaboration.
• Regular use of AI-assisted tools (like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma AI functions) for ideation and prototyping.
• System-level thinking focused on how features interconnect versus isolated screen designs.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity while prioritizing shipping functional designs over indefinite polish.
• Willingness to work on-site in Munich without visa sponsorship support.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience prototyping with code languages such as HTML, CSS, and React.
• Prior design experience for non-technical users managing complex domains.
• Strong perspectives on AI product implementations beyond chatbot paradigms.
• Background knowledge of enterprise software, procurement, supply chains, or industrial sectors.
