Role Overview
This role is ideal for those seeking to establish a lasting career in technical sales. Based in the Drouin office, you will support a seasoned Business Development Manager by handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, tracking orders, and managing accounts. You will gradually increase your product knowledge and manufacturing process understanding, working towards spending more time onsite with customers and progressing within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service and support to current clients.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and orders.
- Collaborate closely with experienced BDMs to deepen product and industry insights.
- Gain hands-on technical knowledge by spending time in manufacturing.
- Help identify new sales prospects and foster customer relationships.
- Participate in customer site visits, moving towards a field sales role.
- Maintain accurate customer records and assist with ongoing account management.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience in internal sales, trade sales, customer service, or counter sales roles.
- A background in electrical or lighting fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
- Motivated learner who is adaptable and committed to a career in sales.
- Proficient computer skills and high attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with an ability to build relationships and take responsibility for tasks.
