Intake Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time

Job Overview

We are hiring a dedicated full-time Intake Coordinator RN responsible for conducting initial medical screening assessments and managing patient care coordination within a psychiatric hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess incoming patients promptly to determine medical and psychiatric needs.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Guide patients to appropriate treatment levels according to their assessed needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a valid active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience within mental health or psychiatric care settings.
• Current certification in CPR/AED is mandatory.
• Completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training is required.
• Preferred educational qualifications include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, or a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related disciplines.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as needed.
