Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable Human Resources Assistant to join our team and deliver HR support services to our clients. This role will begin as part-time and is expected to expand to full-time within 90 days. Candidates should have three to four years of experience handling fundamental HR responsibilities autonomously, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and policy drafting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Participate in talent acquisition and recruitment activities.
- Assist in client payroll processing as authorized by HR Consultants.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and facilitate training and development initiatives.
- Address employee inquiries on topics such as leave and compensation, resolving related issues.
- Promote HR initiatives to foster a productive and harmonious workplace.
- Help develop and implement HR policies.
- Support performance management systems and activities.
- Collect and analyze HR metrics such as hire times and turnover rates.
- Assist in organizing quarterly and annual performance evaluations.
- Maintain employee records and files in both digital and physical formats.
- Improve job satisfaction by swiftly resolving concerns, introducing perks, and organizing team building events.
- Proactively handle HR, payroll, and recruitment needs for clients.
- Demonstrate Gró HR's Core Values consistently.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
- Attend client meetings with HR Consultants to facilitate communication and understanding.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors, maintaining alignment with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- At least three years of experience as an HR Assistant or equivalent internship experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and uphold a positive customer service attitude.
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks independently within defined guidelines and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
