About KidStrong and Role Overview
KidStrong is dedicated to assisting parents in raising smarter, stronger, and more self-assured children with strong character. Our energetic team comes from diverse backgrounds including coaching, child development, fitness, athletics, and education, unified by a passion for supporting children's growth and fostering a meaningful community environment. We are rapidly expanding in the DC Metro area and seek driven leaders eager to cultivate success in multiple centers.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting base salary of at least $55,000, commensurate with relevant experience in children’s programming, coaching, leadership, and team building.
- Performance-based monthly bonuses structured in three tiers—ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per month, potentially adding up to $24,000 yearly.
- Overall total compensation between $55,000 and $80,000+ annually (base plus bonuses).

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage center staff to foster a positive and dynamic environment conducive to success.
- Supervise sales, operational procedures, and customer satisfaction to drive business growth and customer retention.
- Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to maintain effective center operations.
- Engage actively with the local community and implement marketing and scheduling tactics to attract and expand class enrollment.
- Coach 3 to 5 classes weekly, exemplifying leadership from the front.
- Recruit, employ, and train coaches, ensuring program quality and excellence.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and organization, demonstrating hands-on involvement to support all tasks.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 1 to 3+ years of experience in management, sales, customer service, or operational roles.
- Experience or interest in children’s programming, fitness, education, or athletics is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong ability to inspire, engage, and motivate both staff and members.
- Availability to work weekends, taking full ownership as the center’s general manager.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and EpiPen (can be acquired after hiring).
Physical Demands
- Maintain high levels of activity and energy throughout the workday.
- Able to physically demonstrate exercises and coach children effectively.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
