Job Overview

This is an on-call, remote part-time position based in Sarnia, Ontario. Candidates must reside in the specified city or region and be willing to attend local meetings or training as needed.

Role Description

As a Cleaner at Bridgepoint Maintenance, you will help prepare residential properties by delivering thorough cleaning services after tenants move out, post-maintenance, or prior to new residents moving in. Occasionally, housekeeping tasks for occupied homes may also be required.

Typical Assignments

• Cleaning residential rental properties after tenant move-out
• Turnover cleaning of vacant units
• Deep cleaning after maintenance or renovation work
• Preparing homes prior to new resident occupancy
• Housekeeping for occupied homes when scheduled
• Cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and common spaces
• Detailed cleaning such as inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills
• Performing dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and debris removal
• Conducting final quality inspections before assignment completion
• Taking completion photographs when necessary
• Reporting any damage, maintenance issues, or cleaning concerns for follow-up
• Updating job progress via a mobile work application
• Traveling directly between assigned properties

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of compensated professional cleaning experience
• Ability to complete residential cleaning assignments independently
• Experience in move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping within residential settings
• High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work consistently
• Ability to identify and report problems rather than overlook them
• Professional communication skills with customers and team members

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties
• Own cleaning supplies and equipment
• Smartphone capable of GPS, mobile app use, photo capture, and job updates
• Basic English communication skills
• Dependable attendance and solid organizational capabilities

• Residential turnover and property preparation cleaning
• Post-maintenance or post-renovation cleaning expertise
• Apartment and condominium cleaning
• High-volume residential cleaning environments
