Class 1 Driver

Overview

Hyatt Regency Harare seeks a dependable Class 1 Driver responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of guests, staff, goods, and company assets, ensuring top-tier customer service and discretion at all times.

Key Duties

• Transport guests, employees, and company property safely as assigned.
• Complete timely pick-up and delivery of goods, supplies, and documents.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure vehicles remain in good roadworthy condition.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects immediately.
• Keep detailed logs including vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Comply fully with traffic laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary.
• Deliver courteous and professional service to guests and co-workers consistently.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Class 1 Driver's License.
• At least three years’ relevant driving experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or corporate fields.
• Clean driving record without traffic violations.
• Certified in Defensive Driving techniques.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Exhibit high integrity, reliability, and professionalism at all times.
