Transport Coordinator

Job Overview

The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient shipment processing within the supply chain framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and generate transportation missions using Micro-Transport Software aligned with daily operational plans.
• Produce and deliver daily performance and operational reports as required by clients using the MT software.
• Coordinate closely with the dispatch team to schedule shipments for timely pickup, loading, and delivery to their respective destinations.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly adhering to established procedures.
• Engage proactively with internal teams, external customers, and suppliers to implement comprehensive transportation solutions.
• Collaborate with transport and warehouse operations teams to provide consistent shipment status updates and to ensure prompt receipt of proof of delivery documents.
• Monitor warehouse, transport, and documentation workflows to maintain adherence to service level agreements and deadlines.
• Prepare inbound and outbound status reports, billing documentation, and any additional reporting as needed.
• Ensure that all billing-related information is available within monthly deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager to support business needs.
