Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Research Assistant / Project Assistant to support our research activities, project execution, and business operations. This full-time opportunity offers the flexibility of remote, hybrid, or onsite work based in Sydney, Australia. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out market and industry research, including competitor benchmarking.
- Gather, verify, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data from diverse sources.
- Develop comprehensive research reports, summarizations, and business presentations.
- Identify industry trends, uncover business opportunities, and generate strategic insights.
- Assist with feasibility assessments, business case preparations, and strategic research projects.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of research databases.
- Support project planning, coordination, timeline tracking, and deliverables management.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, document discussions, and follow up on actions.
- Manage project documentation and administrative records.
- Help monitor project progress and support managers in milestone achievements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Identify project risks and assist in mitigation planning.
- Prepare proposals, reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Drive operational and process improvements.
- Manage project files, communications, and schedules efficiently.
- Perform administrative and operational tasks to support daily business functions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Internship or prior experience in research, project coordination, consulting, business analysis, or administration is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with presentation capability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of project management tools like Asana, Trello, Jira, Monday.com, or Notion is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is beneficial.
