QA / Test Engineer - Digital Twin Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned QA/Test Engineer to oversee quality assurance across a diverse technology stack including a real-time 3D application, integrations with live building systems, and an underlying data platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining operational success criteria and ensuring system functionality before client verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans encompassing functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.
• Create and execute test cases focused on the behavior of the 3D application, visualization dashboards, alarm systems, and validation of data accuracy.
• Perform end-to-end validation of system integrations using real and simulated data streams.
• Conduct performance and endurance tests assessing metrics such as frame rate, latency, concurrent user handling, and memory usage over extended periods.
• Oversee defect management using Jira and generate quality assurance metrics and reports.
• Support and coordinate client User Acceptance Testing, including scripting of test scenarios and documentation of evidential results.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of four years experience in quality assurance, particularly with complex, multi-system integration platforms.
• Strong capabilities in test documentation and precise defect reporting.
• Proficient in API testing utilizing tools such as Postman and REST clients, with fundamental SQL knowledge for data validation tasks.
• Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and appropriate tooling.
• Professional certification like ISTQB or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

Desirable Skills

• Experience testing 3D or game-engine-based applications, or control room systems.
• Exposure to test automation using programming languages like Python and frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.

Location and Engagement Details

• This role is based onsite in Dubai, UAE, at InfoLabs Global and client premises as necessary.
• Contractual project-based employment aligned with the Digital Twin platform program duration, with potential extensions depending on project developments.
• Applicants must be currently residing in the UAE with a valid residence visa; relocation assistance is not provided.
