Role Overview
We are seeking a Production Team Leader to join our new chilled potato product packing facility located in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Working Hours
Work schedule follows a rolling shift pattern of four days on and four days off, from 06:00 to 18:00 hours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily production operations while leading the production team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and uphold quality control standards throughout the production line.
- Provide training sessions to team members to guarantee comprehension of operational requirements and procedures.
- Work closely with management to track production key performance indicators and identify opportunities for operational enhancement.
- Promote open communication channels within the team, offering constructive feedback and support.
- Lead problem-solving efforts to promptly address and resolve any challenges affecting production efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within a manufacturing or production environment.
- In-depth understanding of production processes, quality management, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset capable of optimizing production effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both team members and management.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a demanding production setting.
