Plumber

Overview

We seek dedicated and energetic Maintenance professionals skilled in delivering exceptional customer service and innovative solutions specifically for a hospitality environment. This role is located at Beach Bay Hotel Al Mirfa, Abu Dhabi.

Primary Duties

• Maintain and ensure all automatic flushing valves function properly.
• Clean and maintain fat traps in kitchen areas regularly.
• Use appropriate chemicals regularly to clean soil and stack pipes and perform routine maintenance on them.
• Ensure that all roof ventilation vent pipes and rainwater outlets remain clear and unobstructed at all times.
• Interpret and analyze building plans and specifications to establish plumbing layouts and needed materials.
• Select and prepare necessary tools, special equipment, and determine the type and size of piping required for each job.
• Precisely locate and mark positions for plumbing connections and fixtures.
• Install supports and hangers necessary for pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain underground stormwater and sanitary piping systems, as well as water piping, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and conditioning systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants are expected to have completed an apprenticeship in plumbing with demonstrable prior experience in a similar role. Compliance with safety policies and regulations is essential, and the candidate must be physically fit. A good command of English and the capability to diagnose and fix faults in plumbing systems are necessary.
