Job Overview and Working Hours

This part-time role requires you to work 23 hours each week with shifts scheduled as follows: Tuesday from 6am to 11am, Thursday 12pm to 6pm, Saturday 3pm to 9pm, and Sunday 12pm to 6pm. The workplace is located on Beverley Road, Hull, HU6 0AA.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service consistently
Oversee the store and forecourt operations
Authorize fuel pump usage and assist customers at fuel stations
Manage cash transactions responsibly
Support stock management tasks including receiving deliveries, replenishing shelves, rotating items, and checking expiry dates
Provide customers with information about products, services, and special offers available in the shop
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the entire site
Stay vigilant regarding security in the store and forecourt areas
Offer support by covering during holidays and absences when needed
Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and job performance

Candidate Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
Strong enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
Flexible attitude and willingness to assist the team during holiday periods and sickness absence
Proactive and able to take initiative in day-to-day tasks
Positive demeanor, approachable nature, and professionalism
Friendly and able to engage effectively with customers
Capable of working both collaboratively and independently
Eager to develop new skills and grow within the role
Comfortable with occasional lone working shifts or sites

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay between 312.90 and 313.50, payable on a weekly basis
