Role Overview

This position is for a warehouse operations officer in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, supporting compliant material handling, storage, documentation, and audit readiness in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the area for work and audits, and support inspections from both internal and external auditors.
Receive incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables, then move them to the correct storage locations within the required timelines.
Create goods receipt notes (GRNs) and transfer order confirmations.
Issue raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables as required.
Raise discrepancy reports or vendor complaints when issues are found during material receipt.
Coordinate with Purchase, QC, QA, and external vendors to follow up on complaints, discrepancies, and purchase order-related issues.
Oversee engineering store activities such as receipt and issue of materials, gate pass preparation, and general store upkeep.
Maintain cGMP records in line with SOPs and follow cGMP practices within the warehouse.
Ensure warehouse areas and equipment are cleaned and maintained according to SOPs/EOPs, with proper recordkeeping.
Carry out cleaning, calibration, and verification of weighing balances.
Track temperature, relative humidity, and differential pressure readings.
Handle operation and cleaning of pass boxes and de-dusting tunnels.
Keep warehouse spaces clean, organized, and in good condition.

Experience

The role requires 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.

Education

Post-graduation in Science or Chemistry is required.
