Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This critical position involves directing the planning, coordination, and implementation of MEP systems in complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a dedication to delivering projects efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and synchronize all MEP-related activities across project stages to ensure effective integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while monitoring progress against set timelines and financial goals.
• Lead MEP teams, including contractors and internal personnel, promoting a collaborating and safety-focused environment.
• Analyze MEP designs and specifications to detect conflicts, inefficiencies, or opportunities for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP systems comply with project needs and building codes.
• Implement strict safety measures, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory compliance throughout MEP operations.
• Prepare and deliver regular updates, performance reports, and documentation to senior management and clients.
• Manage procurement of MEP materials and equipment ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to specifications.
• Employ BIM technologies and project management tools to improve coordination and decision-making.
• Address technical challenges during construction promptly with effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in MEP project management or coordination of large-scale construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, HVAC, fire protection, and building automation.
• Proven skills in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM platforms.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes, safety standards, and MEP-specific regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Preferred experience in Middle Eastern or similar regional construction projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MEP coordination software and clash detection tools is a plus.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and project management software is essential.
