About Court Services Victoria
Court Services Victoria (CSV) supports the judicial, quasi-judicial, and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunals, including the Judicial College and Judicial Commission. The Courts Group consists of Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and CSV itself.
Role Overview
This role involves providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for IT systems, applications, and audiovisual hearing room technologies to ensure smooth operations and a positive user experience. Responsibilities include managing incidents and service requests, supporting hearing room AV systems, and assisting users across onsite and remote sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a vital member of the VCAT IT Helpdesk by logging, prioritizing, and managing IT incidents and service requests.
- Assign tasks to relevant support teams or governance bodies and communicate updates clearly and promptly to VCAT staff.
- Provide thorough daily technical assistance in PC environments.
- Support end-to-end hearing operations via AV system setup and facilitation of remote participant connections.
- Deliver technical support across metropolitan, regional, and multi-jurisdictional locations.
- Offer technical advice, training, and guidance to staff, members, and stakeholders on IT systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for IT services at the Tribunal.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365, Dynamics, SharePoint, Active Directory, video conferencing technologies, and AV systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication abilities and efficient time management.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Previous experience within legal, government, tribunal, or corporate ICT settings is highly preferred.
