Role Overview
This is a full-time remote, commission-only position for a Global Sales Manager based in Australia. You will develop trusted client relationships, understand venue sourcing needs, and recommend tailored solutions for different event types. The position includes lead generation, account management, contract negotiation with venue partners, and ensuring clients achieve the best possible value for their events. You will also work closely with the HelmsBriscoe team to uphold high customer satisfaction standards. The role is open to candidates anywhere in Australia, with no fixed territories. Clients may be located anywhere, and venue sourcing may be required both within Australia and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential leads.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand event sourcing requirements.
- Develop and present venue sourcing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts with venue partners.
- Work with internal teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Source venues for clients across domestic and international markets as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proven strength in sales, client relationship management, and business development.
- Experience in event planning, strategic planning, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using CRM systems and other digital sales and marketing tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in hospitality, meetings, or events is a strong advantage.
