Overview
Castelan Group, a prominent UK specialist in furniture repair and restoration, seeks a Furniture Technician based in Falkirk and Perthshire. Key Responsibilities
- Visiting client sites to evaluate, diagnose, and repair various furniture, including upholstery, leather, and wooden pieces
- Carrying out meticulous repairs aimed at first-visit resolution and high-quality standards
- Generating precise reports and timely submission of work details
- Promoting furniture care products as suitable
- Maintaining professional standards for company tools, equipment, and vehicle
- Providing constructive feedback to aid continuous service improvements
Candidate Expectations
- Must be 18 years or older with a full UK driving licence, allowing up to six penalty points
- Experience in hands-on repairs relating to furniture, wood, or leather craftsmanship is essential
- Comfortable working autonomously in customers' premises
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
