DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically adept DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer to develop, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure alongside modern software deployment pipelines. This position emphasizes overseeing cloud platforms, automating infrastructure, continuous integration and deployment, reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Key Duties

• Architect, implement, and sustain secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
• Design, operate, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software releases.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tools for automated provisioning.
• Deploy and administer containerized applications and orchestration environments.
• Continuously monitor systems for performance, availability, and resource efficiency.
• Perform thorough root cause analysis for infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
• Set up logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to boost system dependability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to optimize development-release workflows.
• Administer cloud networking, storage, identity & access management (IAM), and security setups.
• Support disaster recovery processes, backups, and business continuity plans.
• Optimize cloud expenditure, resource usage, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, governance standards, and industry best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, deployment guidelines, and operations runbooks.
• Assess and apply emerging cloud technologies, automation solutions, and DevOps methodologies.
• Lead initiatives focused on continuous system performance, scalability, and operational improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or closely related disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with major cloud service providers including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools and automation principles.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes, version control, and deployment workflows.
• Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration.
• Knowledge of networking basics such as DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Skillful in scripting or programming with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent languages.
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability technologies.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical ability along with excellent troubleshooting aptitude.
