Job Overview
As a Collection Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing and organizing intelligence gathering from multiple sources. This role involves close collaboration with customers, developers, and analysts to monitor and troubleshoot operational workflows within a cutting-edge technical team addressing challenges of high mission importance using emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and approve requests for new or modified dataflows, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Enhance operational efficiency by reducing dataflow request backlogs and maintaining or improving completion rates.
- Partner with team members to define and improve requirements for new mission management tools that streamline workplace operations.
- Communicate clearly in meetings by providing insights and explanations on proposed system improvements.
- Manage, organize, maintain, and provide accessibility to diverse data collections within the agency.
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Facilitate easy data retrieval and analysis by optimizing data access systems.
- Strategically manage resources to support informed decision-making and research.
- Ensure appropriate use and monitoring of collection resources, including introducing new sources and verifying uninterrupted operation of existing ones, while educating staff to leverage these assets effectively.
- Possess thorough knowledge of data movement, agency architecture, data flows, CRNs, Case Notations, and SIGADs to maximize customer collection efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree coupled with at least 2 years of pertinent experience, or
- Associate degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience, or
- High school diploma or GED along with 6 years of applicable experience.
Note: Military experience is awarded multiplier credit at 1.25 times the number of years served.
Education
A degree in any discipline is acceptable.
