Job Overview
This position involves delivering prompt, polite pick-up and drop-off services for packages along a designated route. The role requires verifying that all shipments meet company service standards and providing comprehensive customer service support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of high school or equivalent education
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and safely maneuver items up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- Preferably, a minimum of one year experience in a customer-focused business environment
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-assessment driver training with minimum passing threshold
- Familiarity with company operations and Canadian customs regulations is advantageous
Skills and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent aptitude for customer service
- Ability to multitask, cope with stress, and perform well under pressure
- Flexible approach to work schedule, including varying shifts and holidays according to business demands
Additional Role Details
This local role is specifically for PPT couriers at the YKTA location. Applicants are required to have a valid driving license (e.g., class 5, G or 1[AZ]) and maintain a driving record with no more than two violations or accidents within the past 24 months. Candidates will be evaluated based on their annual driving report, interview performance, and results of administered driving assessments.
Applicants in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English.
