Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive site layouts and residential drawings utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Develop masterplans and housing layouts tailored for new residential construction projects.
• Draft floor plans, elevations, and presentation materials for housing and apartment designs.
• Support the design process from concept initiation to planning submission stages.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from planning authorities, design teams, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with UK planning regulations, Building Regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with planning and technical professionals to produce practical and feasible residential designs.
• Offer CAD and layout expertise across various ongoing projects.
• Maintain precise records of drawings, revisions, and version control.
• Effectively prioritize tasks to deliver accurate drawings within set deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated strong skills in AutoCAD.
• Experience crafting residential site layouts and housing developments.
• Background working on new housing developments or apartment schemes.
• Sound understanding of residential layout principles, floor plans, and building elevations.
• Familiarity with UK planning requirements and building codes.
• High attention to detail combined with a systematic design approach.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet timelines.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities across technical and design groups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Relevant hands-on residential design experience is essential; formal degrees are not mandatory.
