Job Overview
As a Baker, you will be an integral part of the Fresh Food Team, contributing your passion and skills to create fresh, high-quality bakery products that the community loves. You'll work within an energetic and fast-moving environment where sharing expertise and nurturing team talent are valued.
Schedule
The position follows an early-start roster that helps you avoid traffic and free up your afternoons. The shifts include:
- Monday: 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Thursday: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM
- Friday: 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Saturday: 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Embody Everyday ACTs (Acknowledge, Care & Thank) to create delightful products and customer experiences.
- Uphold highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring stations remain clean, organized, and ready for audits.
- Lead and support your team, fostering a workplace culture around wellbeing, resilience, and collective achievements.
- Continuously enhance your baking and leadership abilities through curiosity and dedication.
- Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure, managing the physical demands and tight deadlines typical of a busy bakery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess formal qualification in baking or an equivalent industry credential.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced bakery setting.
