Role overview

This position is for an Automation Manager with strong Odoo ERP expertise, supporting a client’s automation and digital transformation initiatives. The role is based in Dubai and can be performed fully remotely. It is a permanent opportunity.

What the role involves

Driving automation-focused improvements across business processes and ERP workflows.
Working directly with Odoo ERP to support implementation, enhancement, and integration needs.
Coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver cross-functional projects successfully.
Using APIs, webhooks, and system integration methods to connect tools and streamline operations.
Applying Python scripting and automation frameworks where needed to support process efficiency.
Handling SQL and database-related tasks, with PostgreSQL as the preferred database platform.

What the client is looking for

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Prior experience in automation, ERP, digital transformation, or process improvement work.
Practical, hands-on exposure to Odoo ERP.
Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and integration flows.
Working knowledge of SQL and database management.
Ability to manage projects across functions and engage effectively with stakeholders.
