Role overview

This position is for an Automation Manager with strong Odoo ERP expertise, supporting a client’s automation and digital transformation initiatives. The role is based in Dubai and can be performed fully remotely. It is a permanent opportunity.

What the role involves

• Driving automation-focused improvements across business processes and ERP workflows.
• Working directly with Odoo ERP to support implementation, enhancement, and integration needs.
• Coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver cross-functional projects successfully.
• Using APIs, webhooks, and system integration methods to connect tools and streamline operations.
• Applying Python scripting and automation frameworks where needed to support process efficiency.
• Handling SQL and database-related tasks, with PostgreSQL as the preferred database platform.

What the client is looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Prior experience in automation, ERP, digital transformation, or process improvement work.
• Practical, hands-on exposure to Odoo ERP.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and integration flows.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Ability to manage projects across functions and engage effectively with stakeholders.
