About the Role

WorkCon is seeking an energetic Area Manager to join our Gold Coast Region team based in Ashmore. This full-time position involves regular visits to sites across the Gold Coast, focusing on building strong client partnerships, supporting field operations, and ensuring efficient workforce management within a dynamic labour hire and construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, site managers, and field personnel.
  • Conduct regular site visits to understand and manage client workforce needs.
  • Collaborate with Allocators to guarantee timely job placements.
  • Quickly address client feedback and adjust to operational changes.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand current accounts and acquire new business.
  • Support worker performance, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Administer timesheet processing, attendance monitoring, site documentation, and operational reporting.
  • Participate in a rotational after-hours on-call roster to manage urgent operational issues.
