About the Internship
As a Video & Content Lead intern, you will be responsible for independently managing the end-to-end video content creation process. This includes planning weekly content themes and hooks, filming using only a smartphone with natural lighting and basic stabilization techniques, and editing videos using mobile-friendly tools such as CapCut or Premiere Rush. You'll write engaging, concise captions and scripts, and handle publishing on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and X, ensuring the content is formatted appropriately with optimized hashtags and posting times.
Managing community interaction is also vital, including responding to comments and messages or escalating those that require the founder's attention. Tracking weekly social media performance metrics—such as reach, saves, and follows—and analyzing what drives engagement is another key responsibility. Additionally, you will facilitate collaborations with small content creators through relationship-based outreach, as the budget does not allow for big influencers. Occasionally, you will organize shoot days at the office or factory settings without dedicated production support, requiring a self-directed approach.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to confidently shoot compelling videos on a smartphone without professional lighting or equipment.
- Advanced solo video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot, or comparable software.
- Strong writing skills to craft succinct and human-centered captions.
- Understanding of popular short-video formats such as Reels, Shorts, and X videos, including pacing and audience retention strategies.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and how to interpret performance data.
- Self-motivated to independently handle shooting, editing, posting, and audience interaction.
- Authentic interest and passion in content creation and social media beyond viewing it as a mere job.
