About the Role
We are recruiting motivated individuals for over 500 different professions throughout Germany. We are currently looking to fill the position of Zugverkehrssteuerer (Train Traffic Controller) (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at various locations including Bad Bodenteich, Dahlenburg, Dannenberg, Ebstorf, Hitzacker (Elbe), Wahrenholz, or Wittingen.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and timely execution of train and shunting operations, performing necessary checks such as route inspections on signal boxes with simple or complex infrastructure.
- In the event of operational disruptions, conduct risk assessments, maintain communication with all parties involved, and ensure safe train operations.
- Comply with applicable regulations, local guidelines, and operational instructions, maintaining proper documentation.
- Handle the issuance, receipt, transmission, and documentation of operational notices, orders, commands, and timetable notifications.
- Operate and monitor assigned control, safety, and telecommunications systems.
Candidate Profile
- Completed professional training as a Zugverkehrssteuerer (EiB F or career changer) and active qualification as a Zugverkehrssteuerer with excellent operational knowledge.
- Independent, careful, and solution-oriented working style.
- Availability for shift and rotating duties including weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 train operations.
- Full fitness for operations and psychological suitability for the responsibilities of a Zugverkehrssteuerer.
- A valid class B driving license and access to a private car.
