Role Overview
We seek a highly creative and skilled YouTube Video Editor to contribute full-time either remotely or from our offices in Dubai or Lisbon. The role involves producing engaging videos for several channels, including David Laroche FR, Paradox Sans Filtre, and Paradox Business. Your expertise in editing, motion design, and AI-driven workflows will be essential for creating compelling content that educates and captivates a global audience while upholding our brand’s high standards.
Responsibilities
- Create one authoritative educational face-cam video monthly for David Laroche FR, incorporating music, animation, and B-roll to clearly communicate ideas.
- Edit two monthly celebrity/expert interviews for Paradox Sans Filtre and one CEO/expert interview for Paradox Business, ensuring polished multicam and superior audio quality.
- Develop Hollywood-style trailers promoting each interview to maximize audience engagement.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as auto-transcription, rough-cut assembly, captioning, and B-roll generation to streamline production.
- Continuously explore and recommend new tools and workflows to boost editing efficiency and output quality.
- Lead brainstorming to generate innovative content ideas and develop visual styles aligned with channel identities.
- Maintain stringent quality control, ensuring content meets cinema-level or Netflix-standard production values.
- Collaborate with content strategists and creators to align outputs with brand goals.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in video editing and social media formats, refining techniques accordingly.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience editing videos for YouTube.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and After Effects is advantageous.
- Experienced in editing both long-form videos and concise social media content.
- Strong knowledge of motion design and animation, with added animation skills as a bonus.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted editing technologies such as auto-transcription, AI captioning, rough cuts, and B-roll generation.
- Native-level French and fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with excellent project management skills to handle multiple deadlines independently.
- Creative flair with strong attention to detail and storytelling ability.
- Skilled in producing engaging, attention-grabbing videos tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
