Role Overview
This position is for a Business Data Analyst situated in Gurugram, Haryana. The ideal candidate should possess between 3 to 6 years of experience managing extensive data applications focusing on analysis, mapping, and transformation.
Required Expertise
- Experience working with Snowflake and various relational databases.
- Strong capabilities in gathering requirements and documenting them effectively.
- Proficiency with SQL language.
- Hands-on experience in consolidating, transforming, and standardizing data sets.
- Domain knowledge in Property and Casualty Insurance, specifically understanding policy life cycles, claims processes, and reinsurance operations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to team environments and independently strive to achieve team objectives.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data modeling concepts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Engage with client subject matter experts to gain comprehensive understanding of functionalities and data flow.
- Conduct detailed data profiling to assess data quality and identify key data elements requiring standardization across systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as data mapping, lineage, and design documents to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
