Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, presenting menus with professionalism and courtesy.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, communicate them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff, and ensure prompt delivery.
• Serve dishes and drinks following venue standards while maintaining clean and orderly tables between guests.
• Offer detailed information about menu items, including specials, dietary requirements, and allergens; escalate complicated inquiries to senior personnel as needed.
• Process guest payments correctly using the venue's POS system, handling cash transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, adhering to all hygiene and health & safety protocols.
• Support ancillary duties such as polishing cutlery, folding napkins, restocking stations, and preparing table covers.
• Collaborate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen teams to provide seamless service.
• Promptly address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile and Experience

• Previous hospitality experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar environments is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service; ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Proficient verbal communication in English, with additional language skills considered a plus.
• Well-organized, punctual, and capable of multitasking during high-demand periods.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic IT proficiency is advantageous.
• Understanding of food allergens, dietary restrictions, and front-of-house operations is beneficial.

Qualifications and Training

• Hospitality qualifications or formal customer service training is helpful but not mandatory.
• Certification in food hygiene (Level 2 or equivalent) is desirable.
• Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided covering venue procedures, service standards, and reservation/POS systems.
