Role Overview

As a videographer at Love Poets, your responsibility will go beyond simply recording events; you will be entrusted with capturing the most significant moments in people's lives. This role involves storytelling through visual mediums, working collaboratively with photographers and other vendors to deliver compelling wedding films. While prior experience shooting weddings is preferred, talented newcomers or wedding photographers are also encouraged to apply. Paid training is provided to align your shooting style with our signature approach.

Key Duties

• Capture authentic, emotional moments ranging from intimate vows to lively dance floors.
• Work primarily on Fridays and Saturdays, requiring weekend availability.
• Operate independently or alongside a second shooter based on the wedding day.
• Travel throughout Victoria and New South Wales, with travel and accommodation costs covered.
• Collaborate effectively with photographers and other wedding vendors.
• Maintain composure during energetic events and represent the studio positively.
• Occasionally assist with behind-the-scenes or in-studio content creation.

Candidate Requirements

• A compelling showreel or portfolio showcasing relevant work; wedding experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient with manual camera settings.
• Skilled in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro X.
• A creative and inquisitive mindset focused on producing content.
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive under fast-paced conditions.
• Motivated to grow personally and support the development of teammates.

Additional Information
