Role Overview

Operating through our financial advisory division, Lazard provides strategic counsel on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital structuring, and capital raising to clients worldwide. Our commitment to trust and discretion underpins long-standing client relationships. With a robust presence in Saudi Arabia since 2011, we specialize in advisory services related to complex cross-border M&A, financial restructuring, IPOs, and financing strategy development. We are currently seeking a Vice President to join our Riyadh team.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of both public and private deal transactions.
• Engage directly with senior client executives to provide strategic advisory.
• Oversee and mentor Associates and Analysts to foster their professional growth.
• Contribute to business development and deal origination initiatives.
• Review and validate detailed financial analyses and modeling.
• Prepare and refine client presentations and marketing documents.
• Take an active part in managing team activities including junior staff development and recruitment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Investment Banking or Corporate M&A/ECM with a Tier 1 bank or premier financial advisory firm.
• Proven leadership capabilities and a collaborative mindset that promotes a positive team environment.
• Exemplary performance track record characterized by initiative, creativity, and maturity in a demanding workplace.
• Capability to support, manage, and empower junior team members effectively.
• Exceptional client engagement and presentation proficiencies.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities paired with rigorous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, adept at handling multiple transactions and projects concurrently.
• Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
• Based in Riyadh.
